As a veterinarian, sometimes I think I've seen and heard it ALL. And then? Then something happens that makes me realize I will NEVER stop being surprised by the daily happenings of my job.

I dreamed of being a veterinarian from the age of 7. The academic road through college and veterinary school difficult, the student loans extensive, and the stress load heavy... I often wondered if I had chosen the right career path.
There are still days when I wonder... and then I consider 'what else would I do?' So I realize, that although nothing is more frustrating than certain situations, certain clients, certain animals... there is also nothing more rewarding. Each day I try to remind myself to be thankful for the job I have been blessed with. I am thankful for the sweet clients... thankful for the puppy kisses and the kitten purrrrs... thankful that I enjoy my career.
I am glad to share some of my daily experiences with you - and I hope you enjoy my humble blog.
